SSB Head Constable (Ministerial) is provisional but likely to continue. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory of India and will be governed by the SSB Act and Rules and other rules as amended from time to time.
SSB has released a total of 115 posts for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial), out of the total 115 posts, 47 posts are reserved for general candidates, while 26 will be filled by Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 21 posts are reserved for general candidates. 11 seats have been reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 11 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 11 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and 10 for Ex-Servicemen.

Candidates belonging to UR, EWS and OBC category will have to pay the examination fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred) through Net-Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card only, which is non-refundable. However, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
how to apply
- Candidates can apply through online mode only, other than this applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and rejected.
- Candidates can apply through the link ssbrectt.gov.in.
- The application form consists of three parts and candidates have to fill all the three parts correctly.
- Candidates have to fill all the personal details like name, father’s name, date of birth etc correctly in the first part.
- In the second part, candidates have to ensure that they have uploaded the photograph and signature correctly as per the SSB guidelines.
- Once the photograph and scanned signature are uploaded. The “Upload” button has to be pressed. Once the uploading process is done successfully, a page with Post Applied and Registration Number will be generated automatically.
- The candidate has to note down the registration number or take a printout of the acknowledgment.
- Candidates should note down the Registration/Application Number for further reference.
- In the third part, candidates have to pay the fee online. Candidates have to pay the requisite fee as applicable for the posts through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card of any Bank / State Bank of India Challan.
- Candidate must take a printout of the application form after its final submission for future reference.
- The admit cards can be downloaded from the SSB recruitment website, which will contain information about the venue of PST, PET, written test, skill test, documentation and medical examinations.
SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Candidates will be judged on two parameters – a written test and a physical test. The written test is the first part and will be of 100 marks. The two-hour theory test will test candidates’ General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and General English and Hindi. The candidates will also have to go through a medical test and documentation process before the written test. The candidates who will clear the theory part will proceed with the physical test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST):- PET and PST will be conducted by the Board of Officers detailed by the SSB at the SSB locations.

Common Entrance Test:- It will be of 2 (two) hours duration and will be of 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type questions focusing on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and General English / General Hindi.

Skill/Typing Test:- On the basis of written test marks, a call list of candidates up to 15 times (category wise) of vacancies will be prepared for Skill/Typing test, subject to minimum qualifying marks specified above.
Documentation: After the Skill/Typing Test, candidates with up to 3 (three) times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be called for Documentation and Detailed Medical Examination which will be conducted.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination (Common Entrance Test). The final result/selection list will be prepared category-wise, in the order of merit, after the completion of the review medical examination.
